Welcome

Welcome to Encino Park, which was first developed in the late 1970s. Encino Park is a thriving community of 1,061 unique homes. ``Encino'' is Spanish for oak, and the homes of Encino Park are situated on large lots nestled amidst mature, hundred year old oak trees. The members of the Encino Park Homeowners' Association (EPHOA) pride themselves on maintaining a close knit community through various civic organizations including the Encino Park Women's Club, Blue Sharks Swim Team, Cellular On Patrol, Architectural Control Committee, Scouts, Playgroup, and the Over 50 Club. These organizations host a variety of functions for all ages including the Home and Garden Show, the Arts and Crafts Fair, the Fall Festival, and various monthly gatherings. Members can use the EPHOA pool, park and playscapes, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, as well as the large community center. The EPHOA is managed by a professional management team, and guided by a dynamic Board of Directors.

Entrance Sign

During 2008, the EPHOA will showcase the community's entrance with a new monument sign, and will revise the landscaping for each neighborhood entrance. Working closely with the San Antonio Police Department, SAFFE Officer and providing for after hours security patrols, the association will continue to offer a safe, low crime environment in which to raise a family. The children of Encino Park can attend schools in the best school district in San Antonio, including Encino Park Elementary, Tejeda Middle School; and the brand new, state of the art, Lady Bird Johnson High School. The continued commercial growth along the Highway 281 corridor provides ample shopping, employment, and recreational opportunities. Additional recreational facilities will be available at the PGA Players resort, which will be located only 5 miles away.

When Encino Park was first started in the 1970s it was one of San Antonio's premier housing developments. Today, Encino Park members continue to make it a quiet, flourishing neighborhood through pride in the community, professional association management, and volunteer civic organizations. Welcome home to Encino Park.

On behalf of the Encino Park Homeowners' Association,
